Sociopaths can often be abrasive and callous, showing an ongoing disregard for the feelings and desires of others. They are more likely to be unkind to individuals who have the same amount of power or less power than them. When interacting with those who have more power, they tend to be charming and manipulative. Because of this, sociopaths may climb corporate ladders and seem to excel in managerial positions. They don't have a great deal of concern for the feelings of others, and many don't care to develop that concern. They may view feelings and boundaries as irrational, and they may be impatient with these things. They may also fail to care about the emotional consequences of their actions as long as the end goal is accomplished. There's an ongoing callous disregard for the wellbeing and mental health of others. Their callous behavior may show in their actions, or it may be part of the way they talk to those around them.
