Treatments For Sinus Tachycardia
February 7, 2019
Sinus tachycardia is a heart condition characterized by the sinus node relaying electrical impulses at an abnormally fast rate. This results in a chronic or consistent heart rate of over one hundred beats per minute. This typically happens when additional stressors are affecting the body such as illness, fever, exercise, dehydration, strong emotions, as well as mental and emotional stress. For some individuals, the symptoms experienced when the heart rate rises up to this high level can cause sinus tachycardia to be more problematic then it is for others.
